Obadiah's show's you how to safely reduce clearances to combustibles, Part 2 of 8. Here we will show the first stage of preparing your stud framed wall to resist heat transfer from your wood or cook stove. Installing a heat reflective barrier to protect your combustible wall cavity from drying out and spontaneously combusting from too much heat transfer. This product works in conjunction with other products, alone it does not provide enough protection, it can melt if exposed to extremely high temps for long periods. As always see your local building codes for proper installation requirements in your area.
